If you own real estate or other assets in Turkey, it is recommended that you make a will. Your assets abroad will not automatically become part of the estate in Denmark.<\/p>\n
How to make a will in Denmark

Procedure in Turkey
\nThe will is processed in the country where the property or assets are located. The heirs must use a Turkish lawyer to claim the inheritance. It is calculated according to Turkish rules, and the heirs must meet requirements such as:
\n\u2022 Presentation of necessary documents (translated, legalized and sent to Turkey).<\/p>\n
The lawyer then ensures that the property or assets are transferred to the heirs.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Documentation for heirs who have renounced the inheritance.
